One of the most efficient devices for removing suspend particles is an assembly of fabric-filter bags. Which is called a Baghouse. A typical baghouse consists of a series of long, narrow straws – each approximately 25 cm (10 inches) in diameter. Which are throw upside down into a large barn. The dusty air is cover or blown up from below by the fan. While the filter is throw inside the bag, the clean air passes through the cloth and comes out on the top of the bag.

Control of gases

Gas emissions, including volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and any gas emissions, are control through several basic techniques: absorption, drying, and incineration. These tanks can be employee alone or in combination. These major greenhouses have also been successful against gas. A fourth mechanism, known as carbon sequestration, is in development as a means to control carbon dioxide.

Flue gas desulfurization

Sulphur dioxides in flue gases emit from fossil-fuel power plants can be control through a desorption process called flue gas desulfurization (FGD). FGD systems include wet scrubbing or dry scrubbing. In a wet evaporation system, the flue gas is expose to an adsorbent. Which can convert either a liquid or a solid substance into a solution. Sulphur dioxide dissolves or reacts with the absorbent and is trap in it.
