Priests are being recruited for the grand temple of Lord Shri Ram mandir being built in Ajodhya. Before the consecration of Ram Lalla, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teertha Kshetra Trust is recruiting new servants. For this, applications have also been invited from interested and eligible candidates. The last date to apply is 31 October 2023. In the notification issued by the Trust, it has been said that after the entrance examination, the selected candidates will be given training for 06 months. Priests will be recruited only after special training. Selected candidates will be given Rs 2000 every month during this period.

Age limit and eligibility

The age limit of the candidate applying for priest posts should be between 20 years to 30 years. He should have taken initiation from the Ramanandiya tradition. This should be accompanied by Gurukul education. Let us tell you that Ramlala is worshiped in Ayodhya according to the Ramanandiya tradition of Vaishnavism. If the candidates are from Ayodhya then they will be given preference. The accommodation and food arrangements of the selected candidates will be made by the pilgrimage area.

The consecration of Lord Ramlala is to be done on January 22, 2024, in the grand temple being built in Ayodhya. All preparations for this are going on in full swing. Given such a big program, the temple administration has decided to recruit priests. New chakras (priests) will be appointed for the Ram temple being built in Ayodhya. Before the consecration of Ram Lalla in the grand temple being built in Ram Nagari, Ayodhya. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has invited applications from interested persons on its official website.

Training will be given for 6 months

Archakas will be selected through the entrance examination. After this, 6 months of training will be given. Archakas will also be given a scholarship of Rs 2000 per month during the training. Ram Mandir Trust member Govind Dev Giri said that the age of the applicants should be between 20-30 years. Also, the applicant must have taken Shri Ramnanandiya Diksha for 6 months and must have studied in the Gurukul education system. According to the released notification, recruitment will soon be done for many posts of priests for the service of the Ram temple. For this, the candidates selected will also be given training for 6 months. According to the information, the last date to apply for these posts is 31 October 2023. Note that candidates from Ayodhya region will be given preference for these posts.

Serve Ramlala as a priest

The last date to apply is 31 October 2023. The age of the applicant should be between 20 to 30 years. Traditional Gurukul education has been kept in the eligibility and conditions. Applicants from Ayodhya region will be given preference in recruitment. The examination will be conducted by Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. After passing the exam the priest will get specialized training. After receiving training, he will be reinstated to the post of priest.

Learned teachers will work to train the candidates. After the training, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust will provide the trained archak certificate. Food and drink arrangements for the candidates will be made by Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. At present the total number of priests of Ram temple is five. One chief priest and four assistant priests are deployed in the Ram temple. Acharya Satyendra Das is the chief priest of Ram Lala.

More than 10 crore families from India and abroad will be invited to participate in the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla to be held on January 22 in the Ram temple of Ayodhya. Vishwa Hindu Parishad has given this information. VHP Central Working President Alok Kumar said that the ‘Akshat Kalash’ consecrated in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple has already been sent across the country. Alok Kumar further said that the workers of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, along with other Hindu organizations, will protest in the cities of the country from January 1 to January 15.
