How to draw Asians with bowl cuts–from Wired Magazine


Japanese TV shows are AWESOME. Here’s an article in this month’s Wired Magazine about Ito-ke no Shokutaku, a Tuesday night favorite that teaches you tips and tricks that make you say: Ok, so this is proven to work, but is it really useful?

Wired got these awesome British designers to make the illos inside giant letters that spell out Urawaza. Here’s the R. I chose to put the R on my blog because it is the first letter of my dog Ruby’s name. Don’t you like how the designers made all the characters look like Asians with bowl cuts?
